Brad Packer brings veteran EWU linebacker grit, but current playing data is scarce
Brad Packer is tied to Eastern Washington as a former three-year starting linebacker who finished his career as the program’s sixth-leading tackler, which hints at real instincts, toughness, and consistency in the box[2]. A 1997-2000 Eagle, he also showed splash-play ability with a strong 1999 game line against Weber State: 10 total tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 1 forced fumble, and 1 pass breakup[13]. Publicly available current-season performance data for a present-day Brad Packer with EWU is limited, so the clearest takeaway is fit: high-effort, physical, reliable linebacker energy[2][13].
