DiMetrio Tyson brings veteran edge and run-stopping juice to JSU's front
DiMetrio Tyson is a senior defensive end for Jacksonville State listed at 6-foot-2, 275 pounds, and the key reason to care is simple: he looks like an old-school edge setter who can also create backfield chaos. In the 2012 season, he recorded two tackles for loss in a game against Arkansas and logged the team’s only sack in that matchup, showing disruption beyond the box score. His profile suggests a hard-nosed, physical defender with experience and captain-level presence, which makes him a strong fit for teams wanting dependable toughness, leverage, and pass-rush pop.
