Nebraska’s older Cornhusker speed merchant from a different era
Dwayne McClary is not a current Nebraska Cornhuskers cornerback; available Nebraska records tie him to the 1999–00 roster as a wideback, and historical results show he also competed in track for Nebraska, including a 2000 Big 12 200m appearance. The main differentiator here is athleticism: McClary’s profile fits a speed-first, multi-sport competitor with game-breaking burst rather than a stats-heavy football résumé. If you’re evaluating him as a fit, think explosive athlete and versatile depth piece, not a modern-day CB with recent production.
