experienced linebacker with proven special-teams value and 2023-impact upside
Magalei is a seasoned linebacker who brought real game experience at Utah State and later St. Francis U, with his best documented season coming in 2017 when he played all 13 games, made 16 tackles, recorded 2.5 sacks, forced a fumble recovery for a touchdown, and added a QB hurry; injuries clearly interrupted his momentum in 2019, when he appeared in just one game. His differentiators are versatility, downhill toughness, and a knack for making disruptive plays rather than just piling up tackles, making him more of a fit for a team that values physical depth, special teams, and reliable energy than a pure stat-stuffer.[2][4]
