Jared Koster brings size, edge, and early-career LB promise to UCLA
Jared Koster is a 6-1, 225-pound inside linebacker from Norco who came to UCLA with a reputation for production, physicality, and toughness—he posted 132 tackles and 10.5 sacks as a senior in high school despite missing time with injury, a nice little tell that he plays through contact and can impact both the run and the passer. He also earned recognition as a top prep defender, but the key question for fit is durability and how quickly he can translate that motor into consistent college-level snaps.
