Urszula Smolarek brings proven all-CAA pedigree to Hofstra’s backcourt
Smolarek is a veteran Hofstra guard with a clear résumé: she earned First Team All-CAA honors in 2003 after previously making Second Team All-CAA in 2002, which signals she was more than a role player[2]. Hofstra’s own outlook notes she could contribute as a steady, experienced guard after a 2002-03 season in which she averaged 1.9 points and 1.4 rebounds but finished with a strong eight-point, five-assist outing, hinting at playmaking and a high-IQ floor game[1].
