veteran Navy edge presence with size and system fit
Will Scarle is listed as a DE for Navy, but current public depth-chart and roster snapshots for 2026 do not show a clear, updated stat line for him, so the best read is more about role and fit than box-score flash. Navy’s edge defenders are valued for discipline, leverage, and setting the tone in a demanding scheme, so Scarle matters if you want a tough, assignment-sound defender who can hold the edge and do the dirty work. That usually translates to a coach’s favorite: not always loud, but dependable.
