Steady Rebounding Forward for Charleston Southern Buccaneers
Melvin Brooks, a 6-7 forward from the Class of 2015 who committed to Charleston Southern, posted modest but reliable stats in his college tenure—averaging 1.8 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 44.8% FG in tracked games—excelling as a physical presence in the paint with high school pedigree from a 32-1 state champ squad at Cardinal Gibbons. His gritty, blue-collar intensity makes him a differentiator for teams needing tough, undersized bigs who crash boards without needing the ball; no notable injury history, he's a low-risk fit for mid-major programs building depth.
