Montez McGuire brings proven playmaking size to App State’s receiving corps
McGuire has already shown he can be a productive target for Appalachian State, finishing with 33 catches for 511 yards and 4 touchdowns in the most recent ESPN stat line, while App State lists him at 6-1, 225 with a 15.4-yard average that ranked third on the team. He fits as a physical, vertical receiver who can create chunk plays and finish drives, and his frame suggests he can handle contact and offer a reliable boundary presence. For a team needing a sturdy, downfield threat rather than just a pure speed merchant, he looks like a useful fit.
