Lipscomb’s Intense Senior Guard with Career-High Scoring Flair
Deonte Alexander, Lipscomb’s only senior guard and Nashville native, brings elite intensity and a proven ability to lead comebacks—highlighted by a career-high 29-point overtime performance against FGCU in the 2013 season. At 6’1” and 175 lbs, he’s a JUCO transfer from East Mississippi CC who averages 10.9 PPG, 3.3 REB, and 1.7 AST with 41.5% FG, but his true differentiator is his relentless defensive drive and clutch scoring under pressure. No major injury history; his personality is defined by grit, leadership, and a ‘willing the comeback’ mentality. He’s a high-fit guard for teams needing a tough, experienced shooter who elevates in critical moments.
