Oregon’s rim-protecting spark plug with elite length
In the 2016-17 season, Chris Boucher was Oregon’s defensive X-factor: he averaged 11.8 points, 6.1 rebounds and a Pac-12-best 2.5 blocks per game, while finishing his Ducks career with 189 blocks and a .532 field-goal percentage. His rare combination of length, shot-blocking timing and energy made him a matchup nightmare, but his torn ACL late in the 2017 Pac-12 Tournament ended his college run and adds real durability context. If your team needs a high-motor rim protector who can finish efficiently and alter the game without touching the ball much, Boucher was absolutely worth the hype.
