Parker McDonald brings All-Defensive value and steady infield production to Samford
McDonald stands out as a dependable, defense-first infielder who earned SoCon All-Defensive Team recognition, which signals real value beyond the box score.[5] His recent offensive profile shows usable contact and gap power—his 2025 batting line at Samford included a .288 average and .380 slugging in the D1Baseball splits data—while coverage on his Samford path emphasizes loyalty, consistency, and a four-year commitment to the program.[3][6] If you need a player who stabilizes the infield, competes every day, and adds quiet, low-drama value, he fits that mold.[5][6]
