Active, disciplined linebacker with early playmaking flashes for Bowling Green
In the 2024 season, Bowling Green linebacker Monti Phillips showed encouraging early utility in limited action, recording 3 solo tackles, while his college roster profile lists him at 5-foot-10, 184 pounds from Culver Military Academy. He’s a compact, active defender whose value comes from effort, mobility, and willingness to play in space more than sheer size. Reliable public stat detail is limited right now, but his profile suggests a developmental linebacker with upside as a special-teams-and-depth fit — the kind of player coaches like because he can be coached up, stays engaged, and won’t blink in contact.
