High-IQ Vermont guard with a long runway
Precious is a 6-foot guard for Vermont whose early college sample is tiny, but the profile is interesting: in the 2025-26 season, he showed up as a low-usage, efficiency-first piece rather than a volume scorer, and his 6-0 frame plus Connecticut prep background suggest a guard who can handle structure, pace, and roles without needing the spotlight[3]. His best fit is a team that values toughness, simple reads, and developmental upside over instant offense; the question is less “can he score now?” and more “can he grow into a reliable rotation guard?”[1][2][3]
