massive veteran DT with real power and proven experience
In the 2023 season, Jalen Sami gave Michigan State a rare mix of size and savvy at defensive tackle, and his profile screams plug-and-play trench presence: 6-7, 330 pounds, a former Colorado starter with 50 career college games and 23 bench-press reps at MSU Pro Day. His value goes beyond box-score stats — he brings length, veteran steadiness, and a physical interior anchor, though his production at MSU was more rotational than disruptive. If you want a dependable, big-bodied DL who can eat space and hold the point, he’s a fit; if you need a twitchy sack artist, look elsewhere.
