veteran-sized linebacker with Catamount roots, but no recent on-field stat trail
Shon Blount is listed as a Western Carolina linebacker, but the available public sources don’t show current season production, so the best read is limited: his long-labeled linebacker profile suggests a bigger, physical build and an old-school downhill fit rather than a flashy stat-sheet guy. The key differentiator here is projection over production—without fresh game stats or recent scouting notes, he looks more like a “trust the tape and roster listing” evaluation than a headline-grabber. If a team wants size, toughness, and developmental upside, he’s worth a closer look; if it wants verified 2026 production, the public trail is thin.
