Torrey Esalomi brings veteran size, speed, and secondary versatility to UMass
A redshirt senior DB for Massachusetts, Torrey Esalomi is a veteran defensive back at 6-foot-1 and 170 pounds who brings real speed and positional flexibility after moving from wide receiver to the secondary. UMass listed him as having “great speed” and noted he improved through spring work, while his background suggests an athlete who can adapt quickly and cover ground. He’s the kind of experienced, high-motor defender who can help a team with depth, versatility, and special-teams value—especially if you want a player who has already made the transition and understands both sides of the ball.
