Mike Cardilli brings inside-linebacker toughness and steady production to Western Illinois
In the 2023 season, Mike Cardilli played in 11 games for Western Illinois, made 23 tackles with 11 solo stops, and added 2 tackles for loss, including two five-tackle games that show he can flash when the action comes his way. He’s a compact, physical linebacker at 6-0 and 217 pounds who earned seven starts, and reports from his early Western Illinois years describe him as a reliable rotational defender who grew into a bigger role. If you want a linebacker who plays with urgency, fits a downhill defense, and won’t back down from contact, he’s worth a look.
