Former Auburn QB turned coach, not a current player
Barrett Trotter is not currently an active Auburn quarterback; he is a former Auburn QB who later served as an offensive analyst and is now listed as a head coach, so he is not a current roster fit for a team looking for on-field quarterback production. His Auburn connection is real, but the relevant takeaway is leadership and football IQ rather than current stats, athletic upside, or live-game performance.
