Tre Johnson gives Montana State a long, athletic two-way frontcourt piece
Tre Johnson is a 6-7 sophomore forward from Reno who, in Montana State’s roster bio, is described as an “electric, athletic inside player” who has made real strides and can defend from the 3 through 5 spots. His differentiators are versatility, rim scoring, and defensive mobility — the kind of glue-athlete who can protect the paint, switch, and finish through contact. The big question is consistency and expansion beyond the paint, but if a team wants energy, length, and matchup flexibility, he’s the kind of fit that quietly makes a lineup work.
