Ted Trump’s Rutgers Resume: Tough, Seasoned, and More Game Manager Than Flash
In the 2002 season, Rutgers QB Ted Trump showed grit and veteran poise, flashing a quick-strike arm in wins like Army and a willingness to keep battling through rough stretches, but his play was uneven and turnover-prone at times. He stands out more for toughness, leadership, and resilience than gaudy production—plus he dealt with an ankle sprain that affected his availability. If your team wants a battle-tested, competitive quarterback who can handle pressure, there’s something here; if you want a high-ceiling playmaker, this is a much harder sell.
