Illinois' Historic 6-6 Mobile Center from the Early 2000s Era
At 6-6, Brenda Blackburn stands as the tallest player ever to suit up for Illinois women's basketball, dominating the 1998-99 season with 276 points, 176 rebounds, and a jaw-dropping 114 blocks (4.2 per game) at 59% FG—her exceptional mobility for her size set her apart as Coach Grentz's most agile big. A true rim protector and rebounding force, she's now transitioned to BTN analyst, bringing insider expertise; ideal for teams seeking a towering presence with finesse, though her active playing days are well in the past.
