veteran 6-6 forward with Eastern Illinois ties
Alex Lubsey is a 6-foot-6 forward from Kingston, Jamaica who brings size, experience, and a versatile wing-to-forward profile to Eastern Illinois, with historical listings showing him as a transfer from Tyler JC and later Bluefield before appearing on the Panthers’ roster. His value is more about fit than flash: he adds length, maturity, and depth, and those are the kinds of traits coaches love when they need a reliable, steady piece who can defend, rebound, and stay ready without needing the ball to be the whole show. The data available is older, so his current-season production cannot be confirmed from the accessible sources.
