Loretta Kakala brings size, efficiency, and blue-chip pedigree to Pacific’s frontcourt
Kakala is a **6'3 center** with legitimate post size and a proven finishing touch, highlighted by a **50% field-goal rate** in her 2019-20 redshirt-sophomore season and a career-high **15 points** on 7-of-11 shooting against San Diego in January 2020.[7][2] She entered college as a **top-25 national recruit** and No. 2 player at her position, which signals high-end talent and upside.[4][1] The fit is strongest for teams that value interior length, efficient low-post scoring, and a reliable rotational big rather than a high-usage offensive hub.[3][7]
