Elijah Jones brings NFL-caliber length and press-man upside to Navy's secondary
Jones is a long, physical corner who already showed high-end upside at Boston College, where he was a first-team All-ACC pick in 2023 after back-to-back strong seasons and later earned third-round NFL Draft capital in 2024; his 4.44 speed and elite athletic testing point to a CB who can match up outside and play aggressively in press coverage. He matters because his profile suggests impact traits, not just steady production, and he looks like a good fit for a team that values size, man-coverage ability, and competitiveness at the boundary.
