Rickey Brice Jr. brings size, rim protection, and efficient low-usage production to North Texas
In the 2016-17 season, Rickey Brice Jr. gave North Texas solid interior minutes, averaging 5.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 24 blocks while starting 11 of 27 games; his value came more from shot-blocking, physicality, and doing the dirty work than from high-usage scoring. At 7-foot-plus, he offered true paint presence, but his offensive game stayed limited, so he fits best as a defense-first big who can anchor the rim and rebound when the role is clear.
