Southern’s DB situation is unclear, so don’t overread the noise
Reliable current football roster and stats pages do not clearly surface a Southern University DB named Mychal Bell for 2026, so there isn’t enough verified public performance data to build a trustworthy scouting read. What matters here is verification: if Bell is on the roster, he’s currently off the main statistical radar, which can mean developmental upside, special-teams value, or simply limited game action. Before treating him as a fit, confirm his exact roster status, class year, and recent snaps—because right now, the data trail is too thin to separate prospect buzz from reality.
