high-assist, high-motor lead guard for NDSU
Stefonowicz is a compact, playmaking guard who drove North Dakota State’s offense in the 2025-26 season, leading the Summit League in assists at 4.8 per game while adding 9.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.6 steals, and he earned honorable mention All-Summit League plus Academic All-League honors.[1][14] What makes him valuable is not just the box score: NDSU’s roster notes show he started as a true freshman, played in all 32 games, and delivered a 16-point, 6-assist peak in a 40-minute postseason performance, signaling toughness, trustworthiness and real point-guard command.[10]
