VMI DB Chap Michie: depth-piece defender with a roster spot, not a public stat trail
Chap Michie is listed on VMI’s football roster as a defensive back, but the available public record does not show current game-by-game statistics or recent performance details, so he projects more as a depth/competition piece than a verified production leader. The clearest differentiator is positional value: DBs who can cover in space, tackle reliably, and contribute on special teams can still matter a lot even without headline stats. Based on the limited public information, the best fit would be a team that values developmental upside, special-teams effort, and roster versatility over immediate, proven impact.
