Davidon's Versatile LB Turned Defense-First Leader
AJ Pignone’s profile with Davidson shows a linebacker who once battled through injury, then answered with toughness, production, and team-first versatility; in the 2012 season he played in all 11 games with 10 starts, recorded 33 tackles, forced a fumble, and posted a career-high nine tackles against Dayton. He also earned PFL Academic Honor Roll recognition and was noted as a junior representative on the team honor committee, which points to discipline and leadership beyond the box score. If you want a rugged, intelligent defender with a high-motor background and proven resilience, he fits the mold.
