New Mexico RB with Explosive High School Pedigree, Limited College Output
Micah Gray, New Mexico Lobos running back, flashed elite potential in high school with 2,784 rushing yards over his final two seasons (1,684 as a senior on 288 carries, averaging 140.3 YPG), earning top newcomer buzz from ESPN entering college. However, his college stats remain modest at 107 yards on 23 carries (4.7 YPG, 1 TD), suggesting he's still developing burst and vision at the next level. A high-upside power back with breakaway speed, he's a fit for teams needing depth and raw athleticism behind established starters—no major injury flags, but needs reps to unlock HS dominance.
