Experienced, Big-Frame QB With Dual-Threat Juice
Beatty brings a 6-foot-5, 220-pound frame and a quirky-but-useful skill set: he’s a former three-star dual-threat recruit who has shown enough arm strength and mobility to matter, including a 75-yard TD pass in his early college action at Temple in 2020 and a rushing presence at Georgia Tech in 2021. The fit question is less about flash and more about polish—he’s the kind of quarterback you like if you value size, toughness, and versatility, especially with a background that suggests leadership and work ethic. The ceiling depends on whether his development keeps pace with his physical tools.
