former four-star D-lineman still bringing blue-chip upside to Minnesota
Timms is a **high-upside defensive lineman** whose profile still stands out because he arrived at Minnesota as an ESPN four-star and the No. 83 defensive tackle recruit nationally, after a senior season with 27 tackles and one sack.[3] His appeal is less about flashy stat volume and more about projection: if you want a lineman with recruiting pedigree, physical tools, and room to develop into a disruptive interior force, he fits that mold.[3][4]
