durable left-to-right? No—right-hander who’s been a reliable starter for UCA
In the 2025 season, Jacob Pannell was a workhorse starter for Central Arkansas, making 11 appearances and 9 starts with a 5.01 ERA, 3 wins, and 41.1 innings, while showing he can handle volume even when the results are uneven. He’s the kind of pitcher coaches like for toughness and inning-eating ability: he’s been trusted in key spots, can miss bats in bunches at times, and has shown flashes of command, but his consistency and damage prevention remain the main questions if you’re projecting him as a fit for a higher-leverage role.
