Dayton's Multi-Sport Captain and Reliable Backup Kicker
Patrick Benton, a versatile kicker/punter for the Dayton Flyers, stood out as a team captain in soccer and basketball while earning second-team all-district honors as a punter in high school; during the 2014 season, he appeared in two games as a dependable backup kicker, showcasing clutch reliability without recorded stats due to limited snaps. His leadership, multi-sport intensity, and poise under pressure make him a low-risk, high-character fit for teams seeking developmental special teams depth—perfect for FCS or Group of Five programs valuing grit over flash.
