David Herman brings old-school linebacker grit and a gold-medal pedigree
David Herman is a physical, high-IQ linebacker with a proven special-teams-and-depth role at Holy Cross, and his background includes a gold medal with Team USA at the 2009 IFAF Junior World Championship. In the 2010 season, he played in six games as a backup linebacker and special-teams contributor, and in 2012 Holy Cross listed him as a senior linebacker at 6-foot-2, 230 pounds. His differentiators are toughness, wrestling-bred leverage, and experience; he also missed the 2011 season due to injury, so durability is the key question.
