Ben Snider is giving SEMO a left-handed look worth watching
In the 2026 season, freshman LHP Ben Snider flashed real starter potential for Southeast Missouri State, including a 3-inning, 1-hit, shutout outing in a win over Southern Illinois and a 2-inning, 3-strikeout scoreless relief stint later in April. The swing skill is his strikeout ability — he had 22 Ks in 21.1 innings with a 7.17 ERA in early 2026 — but he’s still ironing out consistency. At 6-foot-2 with a true L/L profile, he looks like a developmental arm with upside if your team values projectable lefties who can miss bats.
