Alex Welch adds size and proven receiving production at tight end
Alex Welch is a **6-foot-4, 245-pound** tight end with a track record as a productive pass-catcher, including a **43-catch, 620-yard, five-touchdown** senior season in high school and a 2014 Miami (OH) season with **24 receptions for 312 yards and two scores**.[3][5][6] His appeal is the combination of frame, receiving value, and proven red-zone utility, which makes him a fit for teams wanting a TE who can contribute as a reliable target rather than just an in-line blocker.[3][5][6]
