Canaan Yarro is the Aggies’ steady, award-winning anchor up front
Yarro has been a high-floor, high-leadership center for New Mexico State, earning Second Team All-CUSA honors in 2023 and All-Academic recognition in 2024 while starting nearly every game he’s been available for. In 2024, he was a Rimington Trophy Watch List selection and was described by the program as the leader and centerpiece of the offensive line; the Aggies also credited him with anchoring a front that improved in pass protection and helped drive a productive run game. He’s the kind of reliable, tough, culture-setting OL who fits well in a program that values maturity, communication, and consistency.
