V.J. Holmes brings steady two-way guard play and veteran experience for Lamar
V.J. Holmes is a seasoned Lamar guard who has shown dependable all-around production, with career college lines that include scoring, rebounding and playmaking rather than just one flashy skill. In his Lamar stint, he was a two-year letterwinner who played in 64 games with 52 starts, which signals trust, durability and a coach-friendly floor game. His appeal is less about highlight-reel burst and more about steadiness, versatility and competitive maturity — the kind of guard who can fit in a rotation, handle the ball and keep an offense organized when possessions get tight.
