Zach Richert’s calling card: smart, disruptive linebacker with a captain’s edge
In his Duquesne career, Zach Richert stood out as a third-down defensive specialist and special teams contributor, piling up 7.0 career sacks in 43 games while also serving as a two-year captain. He was recognized for both production and character, earning FCS ADA Academic All-Star honors twice and a reputation for high football IQ, toughness, and reliability. If you want a linebacker who brings leadership, discipline, and splash-play potential more than just box-score volume, Richert is exactly the kind of high-floor, high-trust defender coaches love.
