McKayla Taylor brings size, rebound upside, and local Georgia pedigree to Georgia Tech
Taylor is a 6-foot-1 freshman center from Atlanta who arrived at Georgia Tech with a strong high-school résumé built on rebounding, double-doubles, and interior physicality, including averaging 11.5 points and 11.8 rebounds per game over three seasons at Langston Hughes and earning all-state recognition in Georgia.[6][10] She stands out for her paint presence, hustle, and proven board work more than headline scoring, which makes her appealing for a team that needs a tough, developmental big who can anchor the glass and grow into a reliable interior defender.[6][7]
