Eastern Kentucky DB Jason Betts brings veteran toughness and steady tackling
Jason Betts is a veteran Eastern Kentucky defensive back who has shown dependable run support and a physical edge; in the 2020 season, he played in nine games and totaled five tackles, which points to a role built on consistency more than flash. The selling point is his experience and straightforward, no-nonsense style in the secondary, which can fit a coach who values reliability, preparation, and willingness to mix it up. There isn’t enough recent public stat detail here to call him a breakout star, but he profiles as a steady depth piece with defensive backfield maturity.
