Howard TE Johnny Barnes: a size-and-effort option with upside
Johnny Barnes projects as a useful Howard Bison tight end to watch because he fits the kind of role college staffs love: physical, assignment-sound, and capable of giving an offense a reliable edge in the run game while developing as a pass target. Publicly available results do not provide enough current stat detail to make a confident production-based evaluation, so his case rests more on fit, usage potential, and positional value than on box-score volume. If your team wants a tight end who can help set a toughness tone and grow into more, Barnes is worth attention.
