Trey Lowe III is Liberty’s steady, experienced QB depth piece
In the 2023 season, Trey Lowe III saw limited action at Liberty, throwing 3 passes and completing none, but his larger college body of work shows a dual-threat profile with 1,632 passing yards, 8 passing touchdowns, and 204 rushing yards at Southern Miss. His value is less about gaudy box scores and more about experience, size (6-foot-2, 218 pounds), and backup reliability, which made him Liberty’s No. 2 quarterback in program notes. If a team wants a veteran, mobile quarterback who knows how to function in a system and keep the offense afloat, he’s a sensible fit—just not a headline-grabbing one.
