Bryan Wright is a hard-nosed, dependable West Virginia back earning real touches
Wright has shown efficient early production for West Virginia in the 2025 season, averaging 6.3 yards per carry on 23 rushing attempts for 144 yards with no touchdowns, while the program describes him as a hard-working tailback whose dedication and dependability have earned him a place in the mix.[1][2] At 5-foot-7 and 195 pounds, he profiles as a compact, physical runner who can fit a team that values toughness, consistency, and steady contribution over flash.[2][5] His edge is reliability and effort, not headline-grabbing stats.
