Aday Mara is Michigan’s giant problem for opponents — in the best way
In the 2025-26 season, Mara emerged as Michigan’s defensive anchor and efficient inside-out weapon, averaging 12.1 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.6 blocks while shooting 66.8% from the floor. He’s not just a shot-blocker; he also flashed playmaking feel and even hit his first two college 3s in a career-high 24-point game, showing real two-way upside. The fit question? If you want a high-IQ, rim-protecting big who can bend a defense, he’s a monster. If you need a fully polished offensive hub, patience is still part of the package.
