Johnny McWilliams brings veteran size, defensive versatility, and a steady role-player edge
Johnny McWilliams, a 6-foot-6 guard from Fresno State, is best known for his length, utility, and team-first style rather than headline scoring. In the 2018-19 season, he appeared in 18 games with one start, averaging 3.1 points and 0.7 rebounds while flashing a useful all-around line with eight assists, eight steals, and four blocks. His recruiting profile highlighted him as a dynamic scorer and defender out of San Marcos High, where he was the school’s all-time leading scorer. He looks like a fit for teams wanting size, toughness, and low-drama glue-guy production.
