Northwestern State's name to watch on the defensive front
Kermit Givens is a Northwestern State defensive lineman who stands out more for trench value than headline stats, and that makes him the kind of player coaches usually love. Publicly available game-by-game production data is limited, so the best read is that he fits the mold of a physical, assignment-sound DL whose value comes from holding his ground, forcing traffic, and doing the dirty work that doesn’t always show up in box scores. If your team wants a high-effort interior defender with development upside, he’s worth a look.
