proven pass-rushing DE who produced 8.5 sacks in his senior year
Lamont Sonds was a disruptive Colgate defensive end who played in all 11 games as a senior and earned first-team All-Patriot League honors after posting 39 tackles and 8.5 sacks in the 2010 season.[3] His value is clear for any team looking for edge pressure: he brought reliable availability, a proven finisher in the backfield, and enough playmaking to be recognized as one of the league’s top defenders.[3] Based on the available profile, he looks like a high-motor, production-backed fit rather than a pure projection.[3][4]
